Advising and Consultation

Jonathan delivers cultural strategy and curatorial guidance to museums, non-profits, educational institutions, tribal nations, government agencies, entrepreneurs, foundations and Indigenous community members.

Services

Jonathan provides best practices in the fields of exhibit design, diversity and inclusion, curriculum development, tribal consultation, collections care,  among other topics for your institution, agency or classroom.  Jonathan, alongside his partner, Leah Hopkins (Narragansett), founded we.face.east. (website coming soon!), an Indigenous consulting firm that specializes in Native-centered educational programming for public, private and independent schools, institutes of higher learning and other educational organizations.

Jonathan works collaboratively for development and implementation of content and provide reviews of existing content and make recommendations.  We help institutions to develop culturally appropriate collections care plans for museums and start thinking about and providing best practices for decolonization and indigenization.

We also bring a network of other Indigenous educators, artists and specialists to the table and can help you develop and implement an Indigenous advisory board if your institution seeks one.

We also provide cultural consultation services for the film and gaming industry.
